Women Who Change the World

An intergenerational initiative harnessing the collective power of women

Let’s be real.
Women are exhausted.

Women are in a state of transition. We are recognizing the imbalance of career, caregiving, and self-care, while we feel under-valued and under-resourced.

Imagine if…

All women had a network of support that met their needs?

The work of women was seen as valuable?

Women were granted permission to grow professionally, personally, and emotionally throughout their lives?

Women Who Change the World was founded to combat the silence in the room that too often exists when we talk about impacts on women of “carrying the water.”

We are experiencing a call to action at this moment in our history. We know that we deserve to have communities of care that help us to achieve in our careers, feel supported in our caregiver roles, and be able to take care of ourselves, while we also are facing oppressive realities that make all of that feel impossible.

The economic impact

Even if women received equal pay to our male counterparts, we would be more likely to earn less in our lifetime because of our caregiving responsibilities. This has implications across our health span and lifespan.

The emotional impact

Women are facing increases in depression, anxiety and other mental health diagnoses, as we often feel a need to meet unfair expectations to hold it all together. This affects our relationships and our wellbeing.

The physical impact

Our wellness is being adversely affected by increased stress, the feeling of emotional isolation and a lack of time to build strong community-ties with short and long term effects on our health.

Fast forward to 2024,

we began to offer group meetings for women in transition that offer mutual support and guidance to those navigating the lifecourse including:

• Goal setting
• Economic Security
• Career growth
• Balance
• Relationships
• Retirement

Founded in 2021,

Women Who Change the World started as an annual meal to gather amazing women together to forge professional and personal bonds that elevated each other.

And in 2025,

we are preparing to launch a movement that offers women the opportunity to live with intentionality, working to achieve their personal and professional goals at various points in their lives.

A lot is about to happen.
